Black Spruce Essential Oil

Black Spruce is distilled from the pine needles of the Pica Mariana tree in Canada, which was historically used by Native Americans, to promote skin health as part of their spiritual healing and cleansing practices.  It is a beautiful oil to enhance calm in the mind and therefore an effective essential oil for not only your skin but also your body, through massage or even to help open up the airways.  As it is a tree oil it is a beautiful oil to use for forest bathing; the inhalation the essential oil in a diffuser of direct from your hand to help you feel more grounded; just like walking through the forest.

This essential oil is called the Oil of Eternal Wonder and can be used emotionally to help you when you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, then to help you open up your perspective.  It is a great oil for resilience and to help boost your confidence when dealing with tough situations as it can help you cool down, take a step back and assess the situation in a less stressed manner.  It will help bring calm as well as helping you to find the joy in what you are doing and then help bring a strong commitment to it.

It is a fresh alpine fragrance which is medicinal in smell helping to clear the nose and open airways when inhaled direct. A few examples to how to use Black Spruce are:

Use with a carrier oil as a beautiful massage oil - especially great on the neck and shoulders to reduce stress. Apply to the wrists and temples as well when required during a tough day

Apply topically with either a carrier oil or in skin care to help ease minor skin irritations on the face or skin in general

Put in the diffuser or inhale direct form your hand to experience an uplifting and balancing aroma which will also help to open up your airways for easier breathing

Rub over your chest with a carrier oil to help ease issues with breathing constrictions

Try using in the diffuser with other fir essential oils for a balancing blend or add citrus oils like grapefruit or Wild Orange for a lighter blend
