Resources to help you make the most of your essential oils

We provide ongoing guidance and support for all of you so that  you can make the most of your essential oils, and we will try to be as available for you as possible to give you the information and guidance you need when you get your wholesale account with us.

This could be with regards to special deals, personal issues you are having or even resources and product knowledge we have through our own personal use and that of our own doTERRA community.

There is a wider community on social media as well as youTube and the doTERRA website itself, with a blog section which I find is brilliant for all sorts of information you may require.

When you enrol with me personally, I provide an A-Z guide to help give you a start up in knowledge on how to use the oils and what they can be used for.  I find this gives you the best possible start and has a wide range of issues that could affect your family, and specific essential oil solutions that can be used for each.
There are also a wide range of books that can be used and when I first started, and realised how versatile the oils were, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a resource book.  This was Modern Essentials, which I still use on a daily basis and has helped me greatly.  We will each have our own personal requirements and use resource books differently, but I prefer this as it is a bit like an encyclopedia, and I can look up the issue and then get straight to information about that issue and then ideas on how to resolve it.  It also comes in an app and some of my team prefer this as they have it 'on the go' and information at their finger tips.  I am a book person and think always will be.

Also a great resource is The Essential Life which has more recipes and is a glossier version, with beautiful photos and great content. It also has specific recipes for a vast range of situations in your life which can be very helpful, when required.  Your preference will dictate which book you want and are better suited to, and I have both of these on hand for you to use and see what is best to meet your requirements.

Another favourite of mine is Emotions and Essential Oils which looks at how essential oils can be used to support you emotionally, along with how to apply them. You can look up how you are feeling in the glossary and then it suggests oils that could meet your needs. I find this is a great resource once you start using the oils regularly and realise how they can support you emotionally as well as physically.

Whatever the resources you use, you will find valuable content that will lead you to help make informed choices that can help you for a variety of issues, both physically and emotionally. They are a great guide that encourages you to research and learn for yourself what can and does work for you and what does not.

Don't forget, we are all made differently and have different characteristics, so whilst some essential oils work for some, in certain situations, they may not necessarily work for you.

The joy of using essential oils is that you can experiment and try them out in a safe manner and if they do not hit the right note with you now, they may help others, or you may need and benefit form them in the future.

The best thing is that they are so versatile that you can use them as fragrance in a diffuser anytime which not only makes the house smell beautiful, with different scents for different occasions but you can also help to create am ambience and atmosphere that can help calm, settle or invigorate your family at any time, as well as for cleaning around the home.
